Nicole Estima, Soprano


Nicole is delighted to be joining the Henry Purcell Society again after singing in previous season performances of King Arthur, Come Ye Sons of Art Away, and A Cecilian Celebration! Opera appearances include Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte) at the Bethesda Summer Music Festival, First Lady (Die Zauberflöte) with Opera Tampa, Gretel (Hansel und Gretel), and Madame Herz (Der Schauspieldirektor) with the USF Opera Studio. She was a member of Opera Tampa Singers young artist program and St. Petersburg Opera Emerging Artist Program. Nicole also enjoys working with living composers and been a featured soloist in new compositions in concert and recording.  Notable appearances include the radio premier of Irish composer Geoff Shiel’s Islands for soprano and orchestra on RTE Radio, Ireland’s National Television and Radio Broadcaster, and the world premier of Baljinder Sekhon’s There are no words at Carnegie Hall. Nicole has also been a featured soloist with Newton Baroque, in concert with world famous early music soprano María Cristina Kiehr and the In Memoriam Georg Phillip Telemann concert. Nicole is the soprano soloist at Second Church in Newton, where she has the pleasure of singing many rarely performed baroque works with period instruments.
